Thread Name: BS: Hints for your Secret Santa--2006
Subject: RE: BS: Santa's Silly Secretary says hint here! (2006)
1. What is your age range? 52

2. Gender? F

3. Do you have a favorite color? Green, blue, black, any of the darker colors

4. Favorite authors/ type of book? I have tons of books I haven't read yet--probably best to skip this idea!

5. What books have you really been wanting? Child's three volume set would be nice. . .

6. What type of music do you like? I have lots of classical and folk music, and rock from many years ago, but my collection is large and eclectic--anything that is yours or from your area would be marvelous, and it would fit right in!

7. What CDs have you really been wanting? I like Mudcatter's CDs, I want a voice to go with the online persona.

8. What movies have you been wanting? What region DVDs can you view? Region 1. I have a couple I've been looking for, but they're not available, so no point in a Santa wasting time waiting for them also!

9. What is your t-shirt size? Medium

10. Do you collect anything? if so, what? I have several defacto collections of things, none of which need adding to. I would love something small that is typical of where you are from. A rock, an art print, a t-shirt, a little carving, a tile, something turned out by you or a local artist. Small and inexpensive, but interesting. That covers a lot of territory!

11. What are some of your other hobbies? Photography, sewing, gardening, those are the ones that I've taken time for lately.

12. Do you prefer gold-tone or silver-tone jewelry? I try to avoid the "tones." (I sometimes break out when I wear odd mixes of metal) Silver is good. I like interesting stones--I used to work for a geologist. If it's small, I might wear it, if it's larger, I'll use it as a paper weight. :)

13. Please include anything else you feel is important that would help your secret santa know what you would like. I find that the packing materials are sometimes as entertaining as the gifts themselves. Try to send a little local flavor by wrapping or stuffing your box with pages from your local newspaper (avoid the sports section--I don't read it here, so it probably won't catch my attention from where you are, either).
