I would love to hear from or about Al O'Donnell. I haven't heard him since Dublin in the late 60's when we hung at O'Donegues on Merion Road. I played with him, often, but he was working, at that time in a bluegrass trio with a fiddler whose name I should remember, but I don't. Their big number was a version of The Monroe Brothers' song, "Movin' Day". We all worked at the same clubs on different nights, mostly at Slatterey's on Capel Street. God, I miss those days.
