Back about thirty or forty years ago, aspiring 5-string banjo players were removing necks from tenor banjos and replacing them with 5-string necks. With the relatively recent rebirth of the tenor banjo, I'm told that there are folk removing necks from 5-stringers and replacing them with tenor necks.

   If anyone has done this latter, and has a 5-string neck lying about unused, I'd love to get it (or get more than one, if possible.) Please PM me.
