CK 2 is indeed from "She Is More to Be Pitied than Censured," like CK 10, "Tale Back Your Gold," an 1890's or so tear jerker. CK 3's title is "The Inebriate and the Pig," but the pig was more polite: He got up and _slowly_ walked away.

CK 4 is indeed from "Finnegan's Wake" and CK 5 from "The Mountains of Mourne."

CK 8, as I said above is from "Fare Thee, Titanic," and is indeed by Lead Belly, composed after John Lomax told him about Jack Johnson's rejection as a passenger on the ill fated liner, as I recall the story. It might have been Pete Seeger, though, who told him.

That leaves CK 6 (I thought this would go quickly--it's by a very famous pop composer); CK 7 likewise. I figured someone might remember CK 1, but was pretty sure that CK 9 would go unidentified for a while...although I posted the lyrics to the 'cat a few years ago.
