The question is whether GWB is an opportunist without scruples--or totally bonkers.

I take comfort in the belief that he's just an unprincipled worm. And he plays up the connection to the radical Right--including the Endtimes lunatic fringe--for the votes. And they, like everybody else, will find they've been betrayed.
