I went to the Kangaroo Valley folk festival a couple of weeks ago.
Despite the fact that there were torrential rains and the festival grounds were ankle deep in mud - i had a fantastic weekend. every moment was good - from the local second hand and craft shops though the rain, lots of great performers, to the fantastic session at our cabin (jennyo, john warner & me)on saturday night - i came away with some wonderful CDs.

The local pie shop had 1st prize certificates from every show in NSW - and a huge selection of very delicious pies.

being vegetarian, I opted for their apple pies!
