Sorry... I am too sleepy to bother with blueies.

There are others... looks like a choice between Merlin and Clearview. The following is Merlin vs Clearview (differences only) for anyone interested. Prices are about $300 to $600 CDN more. 3 year warranty as opposed to two. Optional camera lifetime warranty @ $353 CDN. Made in California vs made in Netherlands. Manual bedlock vs electric "brake" (manual can be repaired by me). Voice control option at $200. Controls on bottom of screen vs at front of bed (when performing manual tasks, cheque writing, whatever, controls do no get accidently moved).

The only thing left is to see the Merlin in person to judge image quality. Like you said, John, one would expect that if they are marketing this as high end, the resolution "should" be good. They tried to get me to order one, but I told them I wouldn't buy a pig in a poke. I told them that if their product was so much better than the competition, they should put one in the local CNIB office so I could take it for a test drive... if ll works as advertised, I'll buy it.

We'll see.
