South Manchester is a bit short of folk in its many guises. Venues are crucial but so are people who simply want to sing or play most weeks.

John's post about Lymm is a great example of lots of good things in one place because lots of people are ready to sing and play. I have enjoyed the sing around and the Folk Club and really enjoyed both.

I am sure S. man must have plenty of folkies but they don't seem to get together much.
