I'm not so sure of that. Mudcatters favorite sports seem to be:

drinking beer
fixing guitars
correcting others' English usage
sneering at bodhrans, spoon, accordions and banjos

Now if you started a thread about which beer to drink while twinking the neck of a guitar at a bluegrass session and while writing that you split an infinitive - THEN we would see 1,000 posts.
