Greetings Bob, For Australian spotted gum: apparently "coryimbia maculata" try, instead Corymbia maculata, italicised as you so properly do. Wretched taxonomists! They're all wanting to get a PhD or improve their publication ratings and so many of them do it by moving familiar landmarks.
