Thread Name: BS: Do you fancy Ann Widdecombe?

You beat me to it, Strollin' Johnny - I was going to say exactly the same thing. I actually spent a little while yesterday searching on Google for some early photos of her - but couldn't find any. If you ever watch the opening credits of the TV series "Grumpy Old Women", you will see a picture of the youthful, attractive Ann (along with the youthful versions of all the other "Grumpies"). [ Personally, I don't think she's doing too badly for someone who will be 60 next year!]

The same can also be said, I think, for the now much maligned looks of Camilla Parker-Bowles.

You are quite right: most (I would say all) of us are not what we were when we were 20. Thankfully, we become of an age where such things have little importance !

The same applies to men, of course. The faces of those gorgeous young actors I used to drool over - such as Hywel Bennett and David Hemmings - became almost unrecognizable as their younger selves in later life. Let's say, "lived in" :) And that is just as it should be.
