'Yes, we''re still in production, having completed principal photography Fall 2006. Tentative air date/first DVD release, Winter 2008. Check out the hundreds of important performers, educators, and illuminators we''ve interviewed on-camera in our "Gallery" section. As we take a serious look at the Ango- and Afro-centric roots of American folk music, I know you''ll be pleased to see all of the classic performers, and many, many new favorites. Shirley Collins, The Copper Family, Martyn Wyndham-Read, Martin Carthy and Wizz Jones, are among the stellar UK interviews; Pete Seeger, Guy Carawan, Irwin Silber, Barbara Dane, and the likes of Dan Bern, Todd Snider, and Devendra Banhart are also included.
