If there's any snow around here next winter the Idaho Legion will sponsor the Very First Annual Idiotorod Race. A race from Franklin, Idaho to Henry, Idaho via Sandpoint, it is open to everyone and commemerates the race to bring several kegs of Old Shakeleg Borebon from Ghent to Aix in 1873. "A team of no more than eight (7) haggii can be used by any one (L) sledge," according to the Offishul Roolbuk (2006 edition). "And all the people in the race have to wear kilts but not the haggii. The sledges got to be painted in the same tartin or played as the prinsiple drivers' kilt."
