LilyFestre, the first thing you mentioned made me wonder whether your bosses had really thought things through. Supposing while checking your closets for people as you were asked, you actually HAD found a burglar. What were you supposed to do? Sounds very risky to me! Doesn't bear thinking about really.

As for the convicted sex offender, I thought they weren't allowed to live within a certain distance of places like schools - I think that's the case here in Oz - maybe it's different where you are.

I can't think of the details of one right now, but I have had weird days like that - not recently though. I'll give it some thought, but I've probably done a good job of trying to forget them. 'Surreal' is the right word - they can be very unsettling. I hope you're all right now. I'll look for another post from you on the "Today Is A Good Day Because......
