I've been researching human development throughout time, and was spending some time fleshing out my last 10,000 years table; I had put in how many thousands of years ago which animals were domesticated, what the rough population estimates were, when which still-extant religions arose... and there it was (remember, dates are approximate):
3000 kya (thousands of years ago) - world population about 150 million; Judaism arises; domestication of rabbits.
And I cracked up - of all human inventions, rabbis and rabbits together!?! I'm SO glad I'm anglophone!
