Christine et al:

I certainly enjoyed your singing.

And now here is my chorus to the Dead Dog Cider song (there's more discussion in an old thread):

Here's to dead dog cider,
The best there is by far;
Here's to dead dog cider,
No moaning at the bar;
You can search this wide world over,
Find many a beer or ale
But when you've tried dead dog cider,
Your search will be curtailed!

Jet lag still hasn't caught up with us. Neither has half our luggage but they claim it will be delivered to our door within the hour. Fortunately, for me, my banjo did arrive with our flight, and in perfect tune!

I am now a card-carrying member of the British Library, and as soon as we return to London from Wales in two weeks I have an appointment to copy the two early and exceedingly rare C. Fox Smith poetry books that are missing from our draft anthology on the Oldpoetry website. What joy!

This evening we take Anne out for a Greek dinner at her favorite restaurant in Wood Green.

Thursday we take off in a rental car for Wales.

Cheerily,
Charley Noble and JudyB
