I share your admiration for the Bluenose II, Spaw. I was in Lunenburg on a wintry November day about three years ago, and I didn't think I'd see her there, but there she was. She was surrounded by piers on three sides, so I couldn't get a good photograph of her, but it sure was s thrill to see her. I built a plastic model of the Bluenose when I was a kid, and I collected Canadian dimes - partly because I liked the Bluenose so much. I think there's a certain perfection in her lines. There were several schooners built in Lunenburg, and all look pretty much the same, but there's something about the Bluenose that made her stand out as the most beautiful schooner ever built.
