well - as I understand it - the "hunter's moon" was when the leaves had fallen and the fields had been harvested giving good conditions for night hunting; neither condition of which has been met in my neck of the woods.

Other then that I've never heard any folklore regarding the Hunter's moon.

Can anyone tell me any?
