This thread is very sluggish of late isn't it? I've requested an action plan from you, but with no response (more sluggishness). So I've had a think and it's occurred to me that controversial threads seem to get a lot of posts in a short space of time. So, if we get a bit of controversy going here, it should help us along. How about this for controversy (let The Shambles know, he'll have something to say about this no doubt):

….. I believe people who eat green tomatoes are fools, yes FOOLS. Not only do they taste horrible there is a statistical risk of poisoning. Far better to let green tomatoes ripen on the windowsill or make green tomato chutney. What do you say to that then eh? Feeling a bit defensive eh? Want to put the case for green tomato eating eh (if you possibly can).

Recipes for green tomato chutney also welcome.

If this doesn't work I'm definitely leaving for good this time - I really mean it.
