I think there is more to this case than it seems. Apparently Joanne Lees wouldnt allow him to stop to check out a serious fire along the highway but was happy for him to stop for a strange van she noticed following them and insisted he stopped.
She has stated she heard Murdoch drive away, but still hid for five hours(wouldnt it have been damn cold in "the bush"),how far can you run into the bush with your hands tied behind ,so that someone -with a dog-cant find you? No more than 100 yards Id say.She was close enough to hear scraping sounds,but yet not close enough to be found!


At press conference she wore a pink vest top, with the slogan 'Cheeky Monkey' across the chest, totally acceptable attire for someone trying to gain public help for a missing / murdered boyfriend.

BUT, why not take part in the initial police press conference, but take part in one later demanding a hair stylist and her choice of new clothes be supplied ?
