Thanks Greg that's very kind. I was just struck by the music and its coherence. I bought a tune book of the tunes of Peeping Tom some years ago and it seems a great way of summing up and passing on great collections of stuff.

I don't know what other people feel about tune books. I guess people who pick up tunes quickly in sessions have no real need. I have been laerning from dots for about 4 yaers and it has opened up music so much for me. It also continues the living tradition of passing on tunes that clearly goes back beyond The Compleat Dancing Master
