Dude was buzzing and "attacking" radar installations when I was in Korea. He climbed up from the "attack" and flamed out -- couldn't restart the engine. So he punched the button and ejected.
Came down in a flooded rice paddy and went down into about a century of "night soil" fertilizer. When the rescue chopper came along, well, the blades do have a downdraft. They picked him up in a horsecollar and let him stand OUTSIDE the chopper, on the skid, all the way back to the airbase. There they hovered and winched him to the tarmac where he was hosed off, made to strip naked, bathed, and disinfected.
After being checked out by the medics and debriefed by the debriefers, he was dropped off at his quarters. There he found that his buddies had very nicely erected a pup tent outside for him....
