No STEWIE, wrong this occasion, but the song I req. was definately written by Jimmy McCarthy (a Cork man) He also wrote many songs recorded by Christy Moore, Mary Black et al ? It occurs that, even though the song is supposed to be about the Irish Boxer (heavyweight) of the 20s called Jack Doyle (?), it is possible that I've gotten the name wrong. A little more homework and I'll be back.
