Neither of these two credits "Felicia D. Hemans" as the lyric author, although the second (on page 2) has a dedication to "Adelaide H. Metcalf, of Damairscotta "Maine.""

There are minor variations in the text, but this is apparently "the same poem" set to music.

Both copies show submitted to LOC for copyright in 1854. This is prior to the book in which the poem is shown, but it remains unknown when "Felicia" may have written the poem.
