This quite probably deserves a thread of its own, but I'll post it here anyway, at least for openers.

David Kuo is a conservative Christian Evangelical (that's how he describes himself) and he has quite a bit to say about what he has learned about Bush and the Republican Party's hypocritical "seduction" of the Christian Right. He's been very close to it, a former Special Assistant to the president, and he's become so disillusioned and disenchanted that he can't stomach it anymore. He's written a book on the subject . What, I wonder, is the Christian Right going to do now? And what is the Republican Party going to do without them?
