Snuffy-

Thanks for your kind advice. We've noted that navigational rules on the waters here in the UK are different than navigating on the highways. Our favorite highway sign has to be the big explanation mark!!!

We had a lovely run to Lancaster, via the famous seven-mile illuminated "midway" of Blackpool, a circuit then around Fleetwood, before visiting the Lancaster Maritime Museum and roaming up and down the Maritime Festival sites. And of course we were regaled with stories (all true) of the exploits of various performers. We had a lovely dinner at a country tavern with Val and her husband, and wine and coffee at her home later on.

Now it's repacking (all these new CD's!)for London and the return of our rental car; hopefully we'll be able to find its home lot again amidst the rush hour traffic.

Cheerily,
Charley Noble
