I agree with Big Mick's first posting. Kids are no defence against some demented idiot with an AK47 etc. No, I do not think they should sit and wait for it to come to them, I think they should do all they can to get away, NOT confront. And, Mick is doubly right about improving security, etc. Take action to improve such things BEFORE training the kids to take over what adults should be protecting them from. No wonder my daughter doesn't want her son to go to public schools.
