There actually was a stuffed toy animal called a "Dicken" on the market about 20 years back. It was a cross between a dog and a chicken. I bought one for my daughter's sixth or seventh birthday.

It wasn't much of a gift, but it was a lot of fun watching people's reaction when I told them I'd given my daughter a dicken for her birthday. Reactions like, "Damn, Bruce! Isn't she a little young for that?" were typical.
