If this is the 1941 film starring Joel McRea and Veronica Lake, don't miss it. In it's day it was considered a witty spoof on Hollywood movie making and I reckon it still stands up as a smart movie with witty dialogue and some clever slapstick - watch out for the scene where Veronica Lake nervously has to jump from a moving boxcar. It also has great character men like William Demarest, Eric Blore, and Franklin Pangborn. If it's not this, but a modern remake, well I don't know. But if it is the original..............Enjoy. Burl.
