Most gun owners are responsible. They don't leave their guns out where kids can get at them. This fact notwithstanding, every time there is a tragedy of this kind there is a public outcry for more and tougher gun laws.

Why?

We don't enforce the laws that are on the books now. The government brags that the Brady Bill kept guns out of the hands of thousands of people with criminal records last year.And do you know how many of these criminals (who were breaking the law in attempting to but a gun) were prosecuted by the Justice Dept.?

Thats's right folks. ZERO!

So lets pass more feel-good laws.
