Scoville, Bucky is cleary a nasty little jerk who is devoid of redeeming qualities, but the mere fact that he is so egocentric that he really doesn't realize he's a jerk (he thinks something's wrong with everyone else...) is what makes it funny, I think. ;-)

I've also known Siamese cats who were a wee bit like Bucky...although I wouldn't say that of most Siamese cats.
