Actually, Franklin County Kentucky is the home. If you have never had their George T. Stagg brand you cannot appreciate the real meaning of "Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey." Kentucky Bourbon MUST be MADE in Kentucky and aged there at least for a year and then aged at least another year (can be elsewhere if your warehouse ain't big enough)!

Tennessee Whiskey and Kentucky Straight Bourbon are two different animals and though I like Jack Daniels as a good booze and a great mixing whiskey, for Manhattans and striaght drinking..............Man, Bourbon is heaven. Those central Kentucky distillers with the great limestone filtered water make the very best!
