Ah. The new puppet government set up by the invading Empire conqueror forces prepares to execute the former tyrant client and friend of the invading Empire conqueror forces, the former client and friend having fallen out of favor in recent years for not being useful enough to the Empire, and who became expendable once his nasty reputation had helped serve as an excuse to launch an unprovoked invasion. This execution will be claimed to be at the behest of the Iraqi people which is a good joke, because the Iraqi people are bereft of any behest, which is to say that they don't really have anything to do with the decision of those who govern, because the people they voted for are puppets and do not really represent their interests.

We watch with a rare amusement, wondering what tawdry and outrageous turns the Iraq soap opera will take next as the Empire sinks slowly deeper and deeper into the morass of its ill-considered and violent attempts to rob small countries of their energy resources.
