Always associated this song with Ireland. I've only ever heard it sung by Jimmy Crowley, probably about 20 years ago, and also Rosie Stewart, [ I think her name was ], a fine singer from from Fermanagh.
Jimmy 's chorus was :
"That's the way from day to day,
The world goes I'm sure.
Some are rolling in the riches
While quite more are very poor."
I do have it on tape, and can probably get most of the words, but it's an old recording. I'll get back if no-one else comes up with it.
