1966 wasn't a good year for me. I was 13 and being bullied at school. New hormones and neither information nor opportunity to do anything with them, thank you the De La Salle Brothers. I had grown out of Freddie and the Dreamers, but was too immature for stronger stuff. Holiday in Ireland was good, though I hadn't heard of the music then. We were there when the football was on. Bad news from the Isle of Man- the steam railway closed as British holidaymakers deserted in droves to Spain. It never fully reopened.
