The true conservatives, the ones of the sort of Barry Goldwater, aren't moaning and gnashing their teeth. It's the neo-conservatives, the divisive ones, the Gingriches, who are doing so.

And the Democrats CANNOT ignore the voters, not this time. Perhaps it's true: the country is waking up.

I hope so, for there is very little time left before the hubris of the US turns it into a second-rate nation.
