I do not want to get into a debate about what is or is not folk/contemporary , that has been well covered in other threads.
As for spelling names correctly , there is no big deal where I come from about Mc or Mac ,
As for the value of his work , well I valued it so much that I gave him a dig out at a session when he had no guitar player with him and I done the guitar work for him.
