Clinton - what is it (11/11)called, then, as opposed to Remembrance Sunday, which is just the nearest Sunday when various commemorative ceremonies and services are held? As far as I know, Armistice Day was 11 November 1918, and 11 November is still remembered as Armistice Day. Here in UK, there have been 2 minute silences at 11am on 11 November as well as on Remembrance Sunday in recent years.
