Ouch back atcha. Notice the use of the colloquial word "odds" as opposed to the word "probability" which does, as you point out, have a formal mathematical definition. Odds may, on occasion, be used formally as a synonym for probability, but it is also used as a synonym for the informals "likelihood", or "chances of...", or "prospects for..."

But, in any case, I am in too good a mood to be annoyed by an attempted "gotcha".
