If you want Democrats elected in 2008, the way to go is co-operation--yes even with Republicans from time to time -- (as for instance in immigration reform)--rather than gridlock.

Point-scoring, and revenge, and gridlock will not win any fans in 2008.


Having said that, it does seem a deep investigation into the contradictions between what the Bush regime told the country in the run-up to the Iraq war and what the intelligence community knew is in order. Exactly what information was ignored?

Let everybody know exactly how the propaganda campaign worked.

If nothing else, it can be a warning to the public for the future.
