Subject: RE: Any news of '99 Getaway recordings?
Thanks for lighting a fire on this one, Dani. I talked to Don & Delores Nichols, who have the actual tapes, to find out where the project was. (Buried under a ton of other projects, I guessed, knowing their cluttered attic.)

We had a lot of the permissions/releases from performers, and I said I'd try to get get permissions from the rest of them--but Dolores had a melt-down of one of her hard-drives, where she had stored a lot of them. I've sent Mudcat messages to anyone who needs to send permission again. If you performed, check your message in-box for a note from me. If there's nothing there, you've said okay and we have it on file and you're golden. If there's a message there, you either haven't said okay, or you did say okay but Dolores lost it in the great melt-down. Send a message to Dolores directly via e-mail (d-and-d@d-and-d.com)--she's not a frequent Mudcatter herself.

Once everyone says okay, we'll figure out the logistics of getting a version to Max to mount. It's on DAT tape. The mid-Saturday "Mudcat Cafe" session looks like we'll have all the permissions quickly, and can be released quickly. The evening performances are larded with songs by some of our professional guests, so we won't assume it's okay until we hear from them in writing (or at least, via e-mail). If they say no, or don't say yes, perhaps we'll edit them out, and release the remainder of the show.
