Well, Old Guy, I paid $1.89 a gallon three weeks ago at Costco in Harrisonburg, Va. and paid $2.09 yesterday at the same place... Now I don't wnat to hurt yer head here but that equates to an annual increase of, hmmmmmm, about 90% if the current increase is indicative of the recent trend....

But I don't expect a 90% increase for one reason alone: a Democratic victory in both houses which oughtta have Big Oil playin' it a little straighter... I have noticed a pickup in the ads by Big Oil in the Washington Post and these are the full page expensive ads trying to make Big Oil sound like they are Mother Teresa...

Yeah, had the election not turend over both houses or the House by just a few votes, yeah, Big Oil was ready to crush US but things didn't go Big Oil's way on election day for Big Oil so they will screw us with a little more foreplay over the next couple of years...
