Thread Name: BS: Salsa BAN
Subject: RE: BS: Salsa BAN
Barry - it wasn't the fact that there was a lot of salsa - it was that ALL the jars had been opened for some reason making it impossible to keep them over for another occasion. If the seals had not been broken the jars could be kept almost indefinitely, or even put out as display items in Mary's lovely home. They would have gone well beside the suit of armour and the handbag light.

Who did the dirty deed and why is not known but I can only assume that the drink was flowing and someone got so blind drunk that they didn't notice the open jars! either that or didn't look at what was on the table before doing the open sesame.

I'm using the jars that Mary gave me when cooking - Tuna with salsa was pretty good last night and they can always go into the next batch of chilli..........

Anyway Barry, it was a delight to see you there and we look forward to your next visit - there will be a pre-Christmas song circle at Deb's house on the 2nd December - note the change of date. You could come dressed as Santa Claus.....
