AND... a long doggy bungee rope, a doggy hat cam, a tracking device, a big collar with a big name tag, or... this could go on.

Seriously though, never a better advert for a doggy indenti chip... We've got our spoilt princess of a cat chipped, though getting her sorted out was a pain. I helped rescue her from her previous home - through cats protection league. And she was already registered with THAT owner - who'd got her from the well known animal rehoming people here.

On phoning the chip people they said I had to get a letter from the old owner to say she was now mine. So it does work, as it set all sorts of alarms off their side. For my part, a letter from the Cats protection people and my vet to say what condition she was in, and why I have her did the trick. She's now the most pampered cat, healthy and rules the roost.

But it is a good system, our vet checks each new animal that comes in to him. with the chip zapper..
