Don't know about "ace guitars" and it sounds like a cheap brand name doesn't it? There is an "A.C.E. Guitars" (113 Crosby Road, Unit 13, Dover, New Hampshire, 03820; 603-742-1160; www.ace-guitars.com) which are custom built acoustics by individual order. Don't know if they manufacture anything "offshore".
