Silly Wizard preformed this song on an album several years ago. To clarify it is a tragic ballad, about a couple sailing to America, and Starts " They sailed away in that gallaint bark, Roy Neal and his fair young bride. My question is. what is the history of this song and has it ever been used as back ground in the popular media or film?
As I was humming it one day a friend, who doesn't "do" celtic/folk music reconized it as a sailing tragic ballad, but conud remember where he had heard it.
thanks,
DT
