The child slaves who harvest chocolate in Africa, the child sex slaves in Thailand and elsewhere, the sex slaves of the Imperial Japanese Army in WW2, the parents who sell their daughters and sons as prostitutes.... Slavery exists today just as much as it has in the past, and we close our eyes to it just as much as our ancestors did.
