I have sung this song for years!
The Oldest living things on earth
are amazing to see. They grow in the
Great Basin National Park in Nevada
and are found above 10,000
to 12,000 feet elevation.

unfortunately i heard that someone who
drilled a core sample from one of these
trees to count the rings caused the
death of a tree which had lived for nearly
5,000 years. gone. just like that.
