I am a simple garage door,
My owner loves me true.
I keep his car so safe inside,
That's what I'm made to do.
But something happened yesterday,
I opened by mistake.
A passing thief saw my owners car,
And it, did quietly take.

My owner spoke to Space Command,
Without one piece of joy,
He told them that a passing thief,
Had stolen his bright red toy.
A 1970 red Corvette,
Was travelling the highway.
With another driver in its seat,
He's driven it away.

He told the guy at Space Command,
He heard they were to blame.
That a radio transmitter there,
Had played a cruel game.
He asked for compensation,
For the loss of his Corvette.
We're not to blame said Space command,
Not a dollar will you get.
