I don't buy the spelling of the 1819 Austrian dialect version completely, but I do like the mention of Mary nursing the child. 1819, of course, was before Queen Victoria brought the world back to morality and propriety....

I think that it would still be "liebes," not "liabes." "tuan sho" gives me trouble, too - but I have to admit that I don't have much experience with dialect.
